SAFETY
Our foremost priority for all student events has always been to strike the right balance between fun & safety.

All PromNight.ca events are staffed by our qualified team & contracted security personnel. And there is always emergency medical personnel at After Prom events.

1:25 = Ratio of staff to attendees
We maintain open dialogue with municipal emergency services, law enforcement, and by-law departments – always notifying them in advance of our events and collaborating on strategies. In the rare case of an emergency, we take immediate action to diffuse the situation, summon relevant emergency personnel, and contact parents, as needed.
To keep attendees safe, we do not allow in & out privileges, outside liquid or food, weapons of any sort, fireworks or firecrackers, self-transportation, and non-ticketed entry.
PromNight.ca events have always been incident-free, thanks in large part to the maturity of graduates and the obeying of obvious rules.
We encourage Prom Reps to make safety a key consideration in everything they do. They are expected to endorse & strictly apply our zero tolerance policy on underage drinking.
Proms & After Proms are all-ages events. If a school’s event is in the Province of Quebec, students 18+ with identification will be able to access a licensed bar; we enforce a strict bracelet system for bar access.
To avoid any one person ruining the night for everyone, we promote event rules in advance so people know what is expected of them on Prom Night.
